A going away party for drugs, crime
Tri-County Community Action Partnership and the Nehemiah Coalition need local designers for a poster contest that would coincide with the August 4 National Night Out.
The contest theme is “Give Neighborhood Crime and Drugs A Going Away Party” and is open to any student in grades K-12 in any summer enrichment camp, Sunday School or youth program, according to Tri-County officials. Posters must be 8.5 by 11 inches and a completed entry form must be attached to the back.
Local officials will select the winning posters based on creativity, aesthetic value and strength in communicating anti-violence awareness.
Submission deadline is 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 29. Posters should be submitted to: Nehemiah Coalition, C/O Tri-County Community Action Partnership, 110 Cohansey St., Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
